Coordinating the Health & Safety aspects of your construction projects

Our services can be tailored to suit individual client and project needs for both one-off projects and long-term client relationships. Whether new build, building refurbishment, term services maintenance or facilities management our team of CDM Coordinators is fully trained and experienced to deliver the health and safety solutions you require in an efficient and cost effective manner.
As Construction Health and Safety (CHAS) accredited CDM Coordinators and corporate members of the Association of Project Safety, Arcus has the necessary credentials and experience to satisfy the competency requirements as CDM Coordinators.
We have successfully carried out the role of CDM Coordinator and Planning Supervisor since the introduction of the CDM regulations in 1994. Since then our services have been enhanced and updated to comply with the revised duties under the legislation.
Arcus has undertaken the role of CDM Coordinator on a variety of projects from small refurbishment projects to large regeneration schemes reaching values of up to £50m.
In undertaking these schemes we have assisted and advised our clients on the appointment of competent designers and contractors and the adequacy of management arrangements. We have ensured proper coordination of the health and safety aspects of the design process, facilitating good communication and cooperation between project team members. We have prepared F10 notifications for submission to the HSE, and have produced the required pre construction information and health and safety files.
Wherever practical, we would always use our online document management system, an approach that allows all team members to have immediate access to project design and health and safety information.
Our CDM Coordinators are able to draw upon their added breadth of skills and experience as designers and construction project managers. This allows them to not only increase health and safety performance throughout the project lifecycle, but to add value at each stage of the design and construction process.
