We ensure total cost transparency and value for money

quantity surveying

Arcus provides advice on all aspects of quantity surveying and has a proven track record in managing the financial aspects of a project from inception to agreement of the final account.

As Quantity Surveyors we seek to minimise the costs of a project and enhance value for money while still achieving the required standards and quality.

Through our knowledge and experience we are able to produce preliminary feasibility studies, cost plans, accurate estimates and comprehensive tender documents.

Our cost monitoring and reporting procedures, during the design and construction stages, ensure that the required robust financial controls are in place to successfully deliver the project within budget.

We work with the client to establish the best method of procurement and the most suitable form of contract. The early establishment of a clear project brief, roles and responsibilities, individual scope of work and the project team’s understanding of the chosen method of procurement ensures an effective and efficient construction process.

Construction projects are dynamic and as such are subject to changes and variations, which can have time and cost implications. An essential element of Arcus’ successful cost control is the strict administration of change control and risk management throughout the life-cycle of the project.

Our proactive approach to delivering services is to focus on our client’s needs and to deliver a cost management service that enables value-based decisions and successful outcomes on all construction projects.
