At Arcus we believe it’s important not only to recruit the right people, but to ensure that we provide our existing staff with the right platform to develop and grow. The practice adopts a flexible approach to the working week, having implemented family friendly hours to ensure staff can accommodate their busy schedules.

University student opportunities
Arcus has a tradition of supporting undergraduates as they progress through the various stages of their chosen career. One of the key components of that journey is the opportunity to take a year out of the surveying degree and work in an appropriate environment. We provide a number of student places every year across the Practice in various offices. These are usually a fixed term of one year, where student surveyors gain real exposure to the built environment, working with industry professionals, project managers, clients and partners on live building projects.

This provides real learning and adds to candidates APC as they journey towards their professional qualifications.
