An integrated approach to a cost efficient and low carbon environment

building services engineering

Arcus provides fully integrated Building Service Engineering services for the built environment. Our building services engineers deliver solutions for both new build and refurbishment projects which are cost effective, reliable and sustainable.

Arcus’ team of engineers provides support to our construction professionals whilst providing a wide range of independent technical design and specialist advice to our clients and business partners.

Projects are individually tailored at conception and closely managed all the way through to handover. We have initiated and managed a variety of projects such as lift refurbishments, intelligent lighting schemes, addressable fire alarm systems, IT and boiler plant room refits and large scale periodic electrical testing programmes.

Our service includes providing clients with technical support for Facilities Management and the monitoring of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Contracts. Our reporting and management procedures ensure that clients receive a quality and value-for-money service that is compliant with current regulations and health and safety legislation.

We work closely with our sustainability teams providing full energy assessments across all our key sectors. This integrated approach at the planning stage of projects allows clients to understand the costs of higher specification and energy certification to ensure that the best options are fully considered.

Arcus takes a practical approach to every commission, to ensure a clear understanding of our client’s technical and business needs. This delivers robust and practical engineering solutions incorporating the latest technology, sustainability and energy efficiencies to achieve best value and long term “in service” performance.
