About Alan —
Alan is an Associate Partner and manager of our Wakefield office. He has worked for over 20 years as a project manager, continually meeting deadlines and delivering results through the application of consistent project management disciplines, expertise and good customer relationship management. Alan has a wealth of experience completing both new build and refurbishment projects for major clients in the commercial, education and housing sectors. He is also an approved CDM Coordinator and is experienced in Health and Safety and CDM procedures.

About Carl —
Carl is an Associate Partner and manager of our Liverpool office. He has a proven track record in delivering high quality and cost effective services tailored to suit the individual needs of clients in both central and local government. Carl is also responsible for Arcus’ Professional Services Department, which ensures our clients are compliant with current legislative requirements and are working to best practice guidance.

Dave Handforth
Associate Partner

About Dave —
Dave has 20 years experience in the construction industry. He joined the practice in 2007 as Project Manager based in the practice’s East region. His expertise lies in the project and programme management of high value regeneration schemes and delivery of regulatory compliance services. Dave has been instrumental in helping the firm grow its services and recently managed the successful delivery of a £42m regeneration scheme in Sheffield. Previous to working with Arcus, Dave served 12 years in The Royal Engineers as a Project Manager, working on essential services and base camp infra-structure/Force Protection as well as Facilities Management and response maintenance to large Garrison communities.

James Eaves
Associate Partner

About James —
James is an Associate Partner and member of the Manchester office management team. Since joining the practice in 2003 as a year out student from Sheffield Hallam University, he has developed his career with Arcus gaining extensive experience in construction servicing a broad range of Housing and Private sector clients. His expertise lies in the design and management of high value refurbishment and regeneration schemes for our major housing clients where he provides valued customer service and operational excellence. James is also a Registered Member of the Association for Project Safety, providing CDM-C services for a range of construction projects including housing refurbishment, new build, education and local authority schemes.

About Terry —
Terry is a member of Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He has led the HR function in many different organisations, primarily in the build environment. Terry is the practice HR expert and provides advice on all people related issues, from recruitment through to retirement.

Sophie Ross-Scoffin
SHEQ Coordinator

About Sophie —
Sophie joined Arcus in October 2008 as SHEQ Coordinator. She has responsibility for the development and management of Arcus’ Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems to which the practice are formally accredited. Sophie holds a NEBOSH National General Certificate, has a degree level qualification in Quality Management and is an Associate Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment.
