Steve Hopkinson
Partner
“My father used to say speed without accuracy is time wasted.”
An introduction —
Steve has a fairly practical background having been
actively involved in his family construction business
from an early age.
He originally trained as an architectural technician while working for a local authority and gained extensive new build experience during this time.
He later went on to become a maintenance manager for several health authorities and gained further experience of maintenance and improvement works in an acute environment.
Steve joined Arcus over 23 years ago and originally worked from the Liverpool office managing extensive new build and refurbishment projects on behalf of the M.O.D in North Wales.
He qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor in 1987 and became an Associate Partner of the practice soon after.
Steve became a partner of the practice in the early 90s and moved to the Manchester office where he provided project management services to our central government clients in connection with several multi million pound refurbishment and new build projects.
Steve is now the partner in charge of the Liverpool office and for developing our expert witness and professional services in which he has a particular interest.
