Affordable Housing of Distinction

The design and delivery of affordable housing is a key aspect of Arcus Consulting's work profile.

One such scheme recently completed is a striking new development in Laureate Close, Hartlepool. The development, built on a former brown field site, provides 9 new bungalows for contemporary living and includes a fully DDA compliant bungalow unit.

The scheme has impressive environmental credentials that include a solar hot water system, high thermal efficiency and charging points for electric vehicles. Sustainability was top of the agenda, with bungalows being constructed using timber frame and cladding.

Arcus are also working with Hartlepool Housing on a 68 unit new build scheme at Easington Road. The scheme is one of the first major housing developments in the country to fully adopt Modern Methods of Construction and off-site manufacturing for all the properties.
